A recovering attorney with a talent for conspiracies

John Wayne Falbey wasn't named after the Duke — a nurse at hospital checkout insisted every child needed two given names, and his flustered father, John, offered his own.

A native Floridian, he switched to pre-law ten minutes into an introductory calculus class, graduated from Vanderbilt Law, and practiced transactional law before crossing into real estate development. That experience is what lends his conspiracies their uncomfortable plausibility.

“Falbey offers a bold, gritty spy thriller”
